PanAm Aviation was established in November 2003, in Beijing, China. It is composed of an international team of professionals in civil aviation management including: Mr Tu, President of the academy; Mr Song Senior Vice President of the academy, Mr Tu, Mr Wang and Mr Qian, Vice President of the academy

PanAm Aviation is the first flight academy in China that meets both CCAR Part 141 and CCAR Part 91 requirements. PanAm Aviatipn is also the first academy in China to adopt an advanced Euro-American style training syllabus, teaching and operation system.

PanAm Aviation has built its flight training base at Zhengding Airport in Shijiazhuang. The training base includes aircraft parking, aircrew offices, ground maneuvering area, flight instructing area, ground instructing area, aircraft maintenance area, living area, and aircraft maintenance area. With its advanced equipment and facilities, the base has the capacity to train up to 300 students at any one time.

Meanwhile, Pan Am Aviation has built two training base in Baotou Airport and Handan Airport to take some flight training.

Currently, PanAm Aviation's fleet includes Garmin G1000-equipped DA40, DA42, Kingair and CJ1 (49 aircrafts total: 36 DA40, 10 DA42, 1 Kingair and 2 CJ1). In addition, the school operates 5 certified Level 5 DA40 FTD. Additional DA40 and DA42 deliveries to PanAm Aviation will continue on a regular basis through 2007 when the PanAm Aviation fleet will number a total of 60 Diamond aircraft. Over that period, PanAm Aviation will acquire the largest fleet of DA40 and DA42 aircraft in the world.

To date, PanAm Aviation has entered into flight-training agreements with 12 Chinese airlines. Students are now enrolled in the academy and are undergoing professional training.

Beijing PanAm International Academy's establishment has led to many "firsts" in the aviation industry in China.
